The man known to his fans simply as Rodriguez was born Sixto Diaz Rodriguez on the 10th July 1942. Sixto (pronounced “Seez-toe”) means sixth in Spanish as he is the sixth child in his family. He was born and bred and still lives in Detroit, Michigan in the USA. His biggest fanbases are in south Africa and Australia, where he had some success in the late 70’s to early 80’s when Blue Goose Records released the three albums “Cold Fact”, “After The Fact” and “At His Best” and a live recording from the 1980 tour, “Rodriguez Alive”.
